Alex and Noah’s wedding was a unique mix of elevated florals and playful details. In our early conversations, they mentioned a love for mushroom foraging, so we knew we wanted to fold that into the design of their wedding day. we incorporated locally grown oyster mushrooms into their florals as well as other funky natural elements like pitcher plants, moss, and stacked stone.

the ceremony chuppah was adorned in long calla lilies that graced the front and sides like curtains, with green vines draping over the top. after noticing the venue had yellow kangaroo paw everywhere, we decided to line the aisle with it to create a cohesive experience for guests. the end result situated the chuppah install perfectly within its surroundings. and for Alex, we wrapped her calla lily bouquet in lace that matched her veil.

the reception was embedded with thoughtful details: custom silver aluminum vases, hand-made in studio; stacks of white travertine; minimalist travertine candle holders in earthy shades of ecru and sand; and of course, mushrooms everywhere.

rehearsal dinner was a contrasting color palette of fiery reds. we concepted and designed an immersive floral runner of red hanging amaranth entwined with chili garlands, flowing in and out of terra cotta bud vases down the length of the tables. a perfectly bold celebration to start the weekend of festivities!
