EAST MEETS WEST AT THIS COUPLE’S PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN SAN MARINO.

from our earliest conversations with Marc and Sarah, they emphasized wanting to incorporate both their heritages of Chinese and Italian culture. our floral and design palette unfolded with this combination, balancing classic elements like Roman columns in their ceremony florals with more Asian-inspired elements like orchids in the bridal bouquet. we echoed the rope detail in Sarah’s dress for her bouquet, which we wrapped with a white satin rope that we tied in a Chinese knot - the kind of finishing touch that might be easy to overlook but that brought all the elements of the day into conversation for a seamless aesthetic.

the overall vibe was classic, but not stuffy - with lots of loose and wild texture and flowers that packed a visual punch. for reception, green grapes and baguette slices kept things feeling abundant and inviting, with white peonies in bud vases bringing an effortless elegance.
